Why does Pennsylvania have Public Adjusters ?

Since April 25th, 1921, Pennsylvania found a need for someone to represent the insurance policyholder in the claim process.  The reason is;  insurance companies are not completely honest when they send their adjuster out to settle a claim. They will tell you "it's under the deductible" or "we only allow so much for this type of loss" or "according to your policy, you're not covered".

I could go on and on with the excuses they use to get out of paying you a fair settlement.

A Public Adjuster will typically recover many times the cash you would receive otherwise. It is also important to know that the Public Adjuster will do all of the necessary paperwork needed to bring the claim to a close.  All you need to do is cash the settlement check.....period.

The insurance commissioner says there should be someone to legally represent you without paying the fee of an attorney.  The fee of a Public Adjuster comes from the insurance money, so nothing comes out of your pocket.

A Public Adjuster is on your side, it may be prudent to use them to your advantage.
